16 February 2017A fantastic Waka Ama experience
Charleston and Masonryvilla Te Rore are members of the Tāmaki Waka Ama Club. In January they competed in the Waka Ama Sprint Nationals at Lake Karapiro. Their father Maeu said that it was a fantastic experience for his sons and a privilege to be part of this wonderful event. “On behalf of my sons and our whānau we would like to give a huge thank you to Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi for the funding received. I would also like to express how grateful and appreciative we are of the work you do with providing this opportunity for my sons. Also a big thank you for being part of and helping to create great memories for Charleston, Masonryvilla and our whānau.
Ngā mihi
Maeu Utufua Te Rore
