We would like to thank Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi for the sponsorship funding that helped get our roopū to Te Matatini 2017 in Heretaunga. This sponsorship contributed to paying our costs which included travel, accomodation wānanga over six months and kākahu. A special thanks also to Janelle Beazley for her support with the application. Hātea continues to uphold te mahi a Rehia a Tane Rore and are proud to have represented Taitokerau at Te Matatini 2017.
